Like it! Like it! A bit more faithful to the original and less extravagant than my version, I like that, also theres a subtle phasing on the voice that works really well just noticed! Cool!

Simulates the original and how the beatles wish they could trade in the mellotron for your flute sounds! nice sitars, reverse effects, brass and guitars with some very authentic drums - if anything, you sound more like Ringo than John, so the verse about no-one else is in my tree... etc, is particularly authentic. Kewl, one of my all time Beatles faves done to near perfection!

cool, this has got some nice creative, warped out sensations. always difficult to be satisfied with covering like this I'm sure, so you created a hell of a song here, those drum sounds get really kick-ass before the 2.00 mark, very intense, but not over the top. this could've been a classic on it's own if it hadn't been for the original.
this is really highlighted on the percussion.

You did one holy hell of a job on this cover. It's faithful to the original but you added such lovely, unique touches that just shine here especially the reversed stuff. Beautifully done. And I agree with snoogans, the percussion is great! I love that fade out and then it comes back with weird and wicked intensity. Very very well done!

I knew you were working on a Beatles’ tune, but seeing “Strawberry Fields” was unexpected. This has always been my favorite Beatle tune. So I was a little apprehensive upon hearing it covered. If I only had 10 tunes to spend an eternity with……. this is one of them. As well as its importance historically, this tune is truly the consummate masterpiece by The Beatles and Sir George Martin.
This is a very ambitious undertaking and Dude........ you did good. Very well performed, I hear some areas that I think could be smoother, but considering what I’m hearing and recognizing the effort in recreating, performing, mixing this. This is kicking ass.... Brother…… Good Job
“I buried Paul” is missing……. or……… buried……….
Very Well Done.......

Well shit.
This is pretty unbelievable. You've done so many things here. You stuck very close to the original in spirit and arrangement, I think... so much so that startling things happen while listening. The guitar solo toward the end jumps out, the tone's all different than I'm expecting. Fantastic.
The real weirdness after the false ending is really cool.
Great vocal work, too. I think i'm most impressed by the backwards percussion, that's a tough thing to do even if you're making up your own shit and so are free to say, "it's supposed to sound like that." Here, I already know what it's supposed to sound like and that's what you made it sound like.
Great sound on the thing that was a mellotron. And the bass lines are very well played. Though putting on my critical hat for a second, I'd have used a thicker bass tone. I dont' think you need to care what "I'd have done," though, because there's no way I could pull any of this off. Fucking astouding. More listens in, it just gets richer.
Next time pick a DIFFICULT Beatles tune to do, though.

Sorry, just had to get that out of my system:
First, this is amazing. Your vox and percussion are awesome, and while I'm not too familiar with the original (I've heard it like twice) I'm going to trust your other listeners in that this adheres closely to the original, which means I can revel all the more unmitigated-like in your innovative stuff, like the reverse hats, trippy flutes, sitars, and what sounds like a squawker in the last few seconds of the false ending. I love that ending melody loop in the pseudo-super-coda thing...it's so nostalgic of the tune our ice cream man would play when he got tired of Joplin. Really fabulous job, friend. Don't stop.

My lowly comment seems so trite that I cannot find the words to express how much I enjoyed listening to this tonight. I am completely stunned to say the least that you've managed to pull this off so well.

When in high school reading rolling stone, remember the cover picture of the 4 Beatles and what they might look like in 25 years -portly gentile men in fine clothes. The article went on to portray them as the new Beethoven and Bach -the new classical composers.
The "classics" get covered ALL the
time.and I suspect that there may even come a period in which conservatories will be teaching the exact phrasing of Beatles songs, well maybe and lets hope not anyway.
I do love this very close interpretation. It preserves the soul of the original,to me .
I now am starting to appreciate what nostalgia can do for me,thanks Ime.

Captured the whole 60’s psychedelic jangleyness of the original. Production is A1. Vocals sounded very early psychedelic Floyd. I even played it backwards and swear I could hear someone mumbling “Imemine is Dead”. Outstanding quality.
